The first learning outcome in our program is “Demonstrate leadership skills”. Leadership skills are vital for anyone who wants to advance and become “high up” at an organization. With my career goals, I plan to keep climbing the latter until I reach a GM or a VP level position within the car business. I love the car business and hope to stay in it for a long time.
For my first outcome, I think one of the best works I created to highlight leadership would be my Personalized Learning Plan (PLP) from our AIS3070 (Applied Professional Writing) class. I took this class in the spring of 2022 and we had to develop a PLP that applied to what we wanted to do in our future. Mine was related to the car business and demonstrated how I would run a dealership as a GM. Showcasing how I would lead and what programs I would implement to run a successful store.
