Professional ePortfolio

As we exit the BTAS program and continue to grow and flourish, the need for a Professional ePortfolio will grow stronger. Over the course of the last two years, I have been working hard to better myself through different courses in the BTAS program. This website was kept over the course of my time here in the program to demonstrate how I’ve grown as a student and as a young professional. It also serves as a place where I can showcase my work to my professors as they decide whether or not I’m ready to exit the program.

After graduation, I will continue to grow and learn as a young professional. I will continue making big leaps within my current industry and may even start to look at branching into another industry. The importance of keeping a Professional ePortfolio will be high after exiting this program and leaving this academic ePortfolio behind. A Professional ePortfolio is a place where I can keep all of my professional accomplishments. These could be accomplishments within the car business where I currently work, any future fundraisers or activities I create, or even serve as an easy place to keep my resume. The Professional ePortfolio can be used to apply for new jobs, and show future employers what I’m capable of.

The Professional ePortfolio will differ from this Academic ePortfolio because they will be showcasing different types of work. The professional site will be showcasing things that I have accomplished in my professional career or any other post graduation achievement. Where as, the academic site will showcase things from my time at UC in the BTAS program. The professional site will help me advance in the future where as the academic site will help me right now.

I think a Professional ePortfolio is a great way to keep track and document my work outside of UC and would make a great tool to show any future employers or apply to any future positions.

What could I keep in my Professional ePortfolio?

  • Projects and assignments from the BTAS program that apply to my career field.
  • Projects or achievements from my current job as a Finance Manager.
  • Future research projects.
  • Future projects or proposals.
  • Future career goals and plans.
